The 2017 District 214 Student Athlete Presentation was held at 7 p.m. Nov. 20, 2017 at the Forest View Educational Center Theater. Our speaker was Maureen Harty, Associate Director of the NCAA, who talked about eligibility, recruitment and what you need to know about athletic scholarships. Students who wish to compete in college should plan to attend this presentation at least once during high school. Here are the materials from the event:

To register with the NCAA, go to: www.eligibilitycenter.org/ and choose whether you wish to create a Division I or II certification account for a fee or the free profile for Division III student athletes or those who are uncertain about their level of play. You can always transition from a profile to certification account at a later date. To register with the NAIA, go to: https://www.playnaia.org/eligibility-center.
