2016 State ACT
Juniors - Tuesday, April 19, 2016
The ACT measures student knowledge of the State Standards for Learning in English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science.
- As part of the Assessment program, all Juniors will have the opportunity to take this important exam at no cost to the student on April 19, 2016. This is a legitimate ACT test and score.
- Pre-registration for the State ACT will take place in U.S. History classes on March 29, 2016. This time allows students the opportunity to choose up to 4 free colleges/universities to submit ACT scores.
- Any students with accommodations should check with their 504 Coordinator or Case Manager.
- Students must also bring an acceptable form of ID on test day. Do not bring electronic devices into the testing room, including cell phones, iPads, etc.
IMPORTANT: Juniors are strongly encouraged to create an online ACT Web Account at www.actstudent.org PRIOR to testing. There is no cost to create this online account and it will allow a student to access their scores sooner, as well as easily send scores to colleges and universities. If a student waits until AFTER testing, even if they create the ACT Web Account, they will NOT be able to access their scores online.
