2011 ACT Prep Information
November 2011
Dear Parents and Guardians of Hersey Juniors:
In order to prepare our students for the ACT, Hersey will offer an ACT TEST PREP SEMINAR in March-April 2012. Hersey’s program follows District 214 test preparation guidelines and will offer students 17-1/2 hours of instruction directed at improving their content and test skills for the ACT. Enrollment in any 214 program gives students access to any other program offered by a 214 school. You may call the Assessment Coordinator at any school for additional information about this or alternate programs.
Hersey’s ACT PREP will be offered on three different days each week of school from March 5 – April 18. •Monday (6:05 - 9:00 PM) •Tuesday (3:35 - 6:30 PM) •Wednesday (3:35 - 6:30 PM)
Interested students should register and pay for their spots as soon as possible. Payment for the program is one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00). An ACT preparation text and all materials are included. Registration reserving a place in the program will be taken at the time of payment: Registration will be online through the following website: https://www.d214.org/testprep/ STARTING NOV. 28 (Charge cards only). An ACT test will be given during the regular school day on April 24 at Hersey. It will be a valid ACT examination and will be accepted as such by all colleges and universities in Illinois, as well as at virtually any other college or university in the United States.
