High School District 214 will offer an exciting lecture and discussion program in February and March to help parents navigate and respond appropriately to their children’s growth and development.
'What Every Parent Needs to Know' will also help parents anticipate and prevent problems proactively, develop mutually respectful relationships, explore fair discipline, maintain effective communication and use productive problem-solving methods with their children.
The program will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Feb. 10, Feb. 16, Feb. 23, March 1, March 9 and March 15. It will take place at the Rolling Meadows High School library, 2901 Central Rd. in Rolling Meadows.
The sessions are led by Bob Leece, student assistance coordinator at Buffalo Grove High School, who has trained thousands of parents over the past 20 years.
Registration is limited to 100 parents and the cost is $20 per person.
