  • Orchesis Huskie Dance Workshop

    Orchesis will be hosting the annual Huskie Dance Workshop for kids Pre-K to 8th grade on Saturday, November 4th. A variety of dance classes, taught by Orchesis members, will be offered. This year, participants are invited to perform at the Fall Dance Showcase on 11/16! The cost of the workshop is $35 and includes instruction, a tshirt, snack and drink, certificate and one performance ticket.   • Parent Night: "Adult Allies: Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth"

    Designed for parents, teachers, therapists, and other adults who want to support youth, this program provides an overview of gender and sexual identity, as well as the specific challenges experienced by young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ), or those who are questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity. This workshop takes place in the John Hersey High School cafeteria at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 3rd. Staff and parents are welcome.
