Yearbook & Senior Baby Picture Information

Yearbooks can be purchased at anytime during the year in the Main Office for $50. Cash or a check can be made out to John Hersey High School and can be turned into Karen Flickinger in the Main Office. Senior Babies (pictures) are only sent home if you sent a self addressed envelope at the beginning of the year with the picture/order. IHSA State Champions!

Hersey’s senior debaters saved their best performance for their last tournament as they swept the top three places in the Illinois High School Association Finals at the University of Illinois-Springfield on March 21-22. Winning the top three places by one school is unprecedented in IHSA history. Senior Ben Goldberg carried home the first place trophy. John Hersey High School awarded $5,000 "Back 2 Books" Grant

We are pleased to announce that John Hersey High School is the recipient of a Back 2 Books grant in the amount of $5,000.00 to support the library’s interdisciplinary STEM Education. The grant was provided through the generosity of the office of Jesse White, Illinois Secretary of State to provide quality library materials. The funds will be used to update library materials in support of the interdisciplinary forums and to support an interest in literacy in science. » Continue Reading
